Duolingo, Inc. has created another way to assess learners with the help of artificial intelligence. It is a quite new test but has reached its popularity during the COVID time due to its accessibility: anyone can take it online at home. The DET has a bit different approach to measuring test-taker abilities. Instead of testing specific skills in each section like Reading, Writing, Speaking, or Listening, they measure them in a combined way. These sections are: Literacy (it measures your ability to read and write), Comprehension (read and listen), Conversation (listen and speak), and Production (write and speak).
