Irregular verbs can be challenging for any English learner. Sometimes they are so complicated and do not have anything in common. So how can anyone remember them Here are some tips to do so!

✅ Learn the most common irregular verbs.

There are more than 100 irregular verbs, however, someone of them are not used as often as others. Try to focus on the most used ones, especially, for you in your daily communication. For example, unless, you are a journalist, the verb "broadcast" probably, would not be used that common, but, for instance, "go", yes. Also, "go" is one of the phrasal verbs so the use is even more common.

✅ Learn by pattern groups.

English irregular verbs have some patterns so they can be grouped. For instance, verbs as "cost," "let," "set," "cut" and some others do not change when they are conjugated in Simple Past and Perfect.

✅ Try to remember in context.

The best way to remember any word is to learn it in a context by creating a sentence yourself or finding it in a reading, song, or when watching a movie. The verb "seek" in the past is "sought," so it is possible to make a sentence yourself, "He sought asylum in the United States."
