Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is an international standardized English test. It is created by the Educational Testing Service to test non-native English speakers' knowledge of the language, especially in the academic field, based on reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
✅ What is the maximum score can I get?
The total score is 120.
Each section (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) is graded from 0-30.

✅ How is the test administrated?
TOEFL can be taken at home and in an ETS-authorized test center. It uses the Internet to connect to your questions and send your responses back for scoring.
✅ How long does it take to take the test?
TOEFL lasts for 3 hours. However, you would need some additional time to check in, get in and out of the Test Center
✅ Can I take notes during the exam?
Yes, you can. But they will be collected and destroyed after the test. The same thing is for a home addition.
✅ How much is TOEFL?
It depends on the country and region where you want to take it. The range is between $160 - $300.
✅ How long my score is valid?
Your score is valid for 2 years. Then it expires and you cannot present them again.
✅ Does my university/college accept TOEFL?
You should ask directly or find this out on the website of your university. In fact, more than 10,000 institutions in 150+ countries do!
✅ How long does it to prepare for TOEFL?
It depends on your English level. To get a high score, students usually spend around 3-12 months. However, if you do not have time and you are determined, then you can prepare in a limited period too!
